Point Reyes Station

Point Reyes Station is the town with the largest commercial area along the Point Reyes National Seashore, which looks like this on the map, with our drive from the French Marin Cheese Co. To the west, the park is supposed offer hiking and a beautiful lighthouse. I hadn't heard found anything about the pastries in that area, though, so pfft.... we reserved that for a separate trip.

We walked around the cute town itself, whose commercial streets pretty much form an "I" shape.

Isn't it amazing that this seems to work so well?
This was one of two markets in town, nicely arranged with a range of whatever they choose to sell....
Whether it's the largest display of organic chocolate I've ever seen....
Or an inviting assortment organic produce....
Or a curiously large pet care section...
Plus, I couldn't help noticing that Point Reyes Station is home to the most charming dentist sign in the world.
There are also a few restaurants in town, and the Cowgirl Creamery..... which was our next stop.
