Well, it was sort of the first day of class...

I attended the week long Career Discovery class last week where you get to be in the kitchen and get an overview of the sort of things that you'll do in the 30 week program--so one day for creaming method, one for foaming method, two for bread, and one for chocolate. I miss the kitchen. In honor of that fond memory of being in the kitchen and the joy that is baking bread, here is my first pic on the site:


I still have to practice my food photography. This one is even less pretty, but I couldn't eat all that bread at once....
